Leonidio is a small traditional town on the Peloponnese Peninsula in Greece. Surrounding the city is one of the largest undeveloped climbing areas in Europe. Hundreds of sectors with the potential for thousands of routes, which are spread out within 20 kilometers and an altitude difference of 800 meters, allowing all-yer-round-climbing conditions on high quality limestone lie waiting to be developed further. The number of new routes is growing rapidly.

Currently (January 2017) there are close to 1000 routes from French 3 - 9a, including dozens of open projects.

A river bed with dozens of boulder blocks also lie waiting for their ascents.
